PARTY LANDEVENT DÉCOR · NY & NJ
50% to book your date · The other 50% on your event day, after setup

Your quote tells you exactly what is included, what it costs and what we have agreed for your event.

1. Booking your date

Sending a message or asking for a quote does not reserve your date. Your booking is confirmed once we receive a 50% deposit and send you written confirmation.

The deposit is part of your total price, not an extra fee. It lets us hold your date and start buying and preparing items for your event. The booking deposit is non-refundable. We may consider an exception for the death of a close family member or another serious emergency, but supporting documents are required. Each request is reviewed individually; providing documents does not guarantee a refund. It is not a deposit for damage to rental items.

Before paying, please check your invoice, date, venue, design, included items and cancellation terms. Let us know if anything needs correcting.

2. Payments & extra costs

The other 50% is due on the day of your event, after we finish setting up. Your invoice will explain how to pay. If another service has a different payment schedule, we will agree on it in writing.

Your quote shows your final price and what is included. Prices marked “from” may increase depending on your design and needs. Travel, tolls, parking, delivery, pickup, venue requirements, taxes and upgrades are included only when listed in your quote.

If you request extra décor, tables, rental hours or services, we will confirm the price and availability before adding them. This page does not add any hidden cancellation, late-payment or damage fees.

3. Your design & changes

Please check names, spelling, dates, colors, sizes and quantities before approving your design. Tell us as soon as possible if your venue, guest count, event time or plans change.

All design changes must be discussed with and approved by Party Land in writing. Standard design changes must be agreed at least 2 weeks (14 days) before your event. Changes to custom-made décor or personalized items must be agreed at least 4 weeks (28 days) before your event. We cannot accept these changes after the relevant deadline. Sending a request before the deadline does not mean it has been approved. We will confirm availability and any extra cost before going ahead. Items already bought or made especially for your event may not be reusable.

Photos show examples of our work. Only the items listed in your package or quote are included. Colors can look different on a screen or in different lighting. We will discuss any significant replacement of your agreed materials or décor with you.

4. Canceling or changing your date

Email alinapartyland@gmail.com with your name and event date if you need to cancel or move your booking. Your request counts from the time we receive it. Keep a copy and ask us to confirm receipt. If you are asking for an emergency exception, contact us first so we can explain what proof is needed. Please do not send full medical records or other unnecessary private information.

If you cancel, your 50% booking deposit is non-refundable. The only exceptions we may consider are the death of a close family member or another serious emergency supported by documents. Any exception must be approved by Party Land in writing. Your written agreement will explain what happens to any other payments and custom items. Canceling does not automatically mean losing every payment you have made.

We can move your event only if we, the rental items and any other providers are available. We must agree in writing on the new date, whether your deposit can be used for it, and any extra costs. A new date is not reserved until we confirm it.

5. Outdoor events & weather

Tell us before booking if your event will be outdoors. We need to know the location, ground surface, available shade, power and shelter. Please arrange a safe indoor or sheltered backup with your venue and discuss it with us in advance.

Rain, strong wind, lightning, very hot or cold weather, direct sun, wet ground and flooding can damage décor or make equipment unsafe. A decorative canopy does not make an outdoor area safe during a severe storm.

If conditions are unsafe, we may need to move the setup indoors, change the layout, delay setup, stop use or remove equipment. We will follow the equipment maker’s safety rules and any required safety standards.

A backup space must have enough room, safe access and the venue’s permission. We will agree with you before adding extra travel, work or equipment costs. If there is no safe option, we will discuss next steps using your booking agreement and the cancellation and disruption rules below. A refund, credit or new date is not automatic.

Outdoor balloons and décor may change in appearance or lose their shape in sun, heat, wind or rain. We cannot promise they will look the same throughout the event. Tell us promptly if there is a problem. You still keep all rights that the law gives you.

6. If the event cannot go ahead

Severe weather, a venue closure, a power outage or an emergency may make an event unsafe or impossible. Please contact us as soon as you know about a problem. We will do the same and discuss a safe alternative or another date.

What happens to payments depends on the services affected, work already done, costs already paid for your event, your written agreement and the law. Neither side automatically keeps the full price for work that was not provided.

If we cannot provide an agreed service for a reason within our control, we will tell you promptly and discuss an alternative you accept or a refund for the service not provided. We will not replace a provider or make a major service change without your agreement.

7. Venue, setup & pickup

Before we finalize your quote, tell us about venue rules, delivery access, stairs, elevators, loading areas, parking, setup and pickup times, ceiling height and floor protection. Check whether the venue allows balloons, tape or other adhesives, confetti, flames and equipment anchors.

Please keep the setup area clear and ready. You or an agreed contact should be available to let us in and check the finished setup. Tell us right away about delays. Less setup time may affect what we can finish before the event.

Do not move or take apart décor or equipment without checking with our team. Never remove weights, anchors or supports, lean on backdrops, attach extra items or move electrical equipment. Tell us in advance if something needs to move during the event.

Your booking will confirm pickup time, who takes down the setup and any extra rental time. Please do not throw away rental items such as stands, walls, signs or linens.

Guest & child supervision after setup

Once we finish setup and hand it over to you, our team normally leaves. We do not stay to supervise your event, guests or children unless an attendant or supervision service is specifically included in your written booking. A photo booth attendant supervises the booked booth service, not the whole event.

You are responsible for arranging appropriate supervision of children and for following the safety instructions we and any equipment provider give you. Guests must take reasonable care of themselves and others. Keep walkways clear and make sure décor and equipment are used only as intended.

We are not responsible for falls, injuries or damage caused by guest behavior, lack of required supervision, misuse, unauthorized moving or changes to the setup, or hazards created after handover, except where Party Land is legally responsible. If something becomes damaged, unstable or unsafe, stop using it, keep guests away and contact us promptly.

8. Looking after rental items

Rental items belong to Party Land or the provider named in your booking, unless you are buying them. Your invoice should list the items, quantities, rental time, setup, pickup and any separate damage deposit.

Use items only as agreed and in the approved location. Keep them away from flames, heaters, sprinklers, food stains, pets and unsuitable weather. Please do not paint, drill, alter or stick anything to them without permission.

Tell us promptly if an item is missing, damaged or unsafe. Stop using an unsafe item. Photos and an item list can help show its condition when delivered and returned. Normal wear is different from damage.

If you are responsible for damage, loss or extra cleaning under your agreement and the law, we will explain the charge and the reasonable repair, cleaning or replacement cost. Your booking deposit does not give us permission to charge you for unrelated items.

9. Soft Play & Bounce Houses

Prices depend on the size and setup you choose. Before booking, we will confirm the space needed, age and size limits, maximum number of users, suitable ground, weather limits, power needs, rental hours and supervision rules for your equipment.

A responsible adult must actively watch children at all times. If the equipment also needs a trained operator or attendant, a supervising parent does not replace that person. Follow the provider’s rules and keep children of very different ages or sizes from playing together when unsafe.

No shoes, sharp objects, food, drinks, pets, rough play or climbing on outside walls. Do not exceed the number of users allowed. Do not add water to equipment made for dry play. Keep entrances, exits, blowers and cables clear.

Follow the equipment maker’s setup and safety instructions, indoors and outdoors. Never remove anchors or move an inflatable yourself. If wind is too strong for the unit, lightning or unsafe weather approaches, or the inflatable loses power or air, stop play and help everyone leave safely. Follow the provider’s shutdown instructions.

Each unit has its own rules. These website guidelines do not replace those rules or any required inspections, permits, insurance or separate provider agreement.

10. Balloon & décor safety

Uninflated and broken balloons are a choking hazard. Keep them away from children and pets, supervise children near décor and throw away broken pieces right away. Tell us before booking about latex or other material allergies.

Décor, flowers and props are not toys and may have small parts. Do not climb or sit on pedestals, pull balloon garlands or stand under an unstable setup. Keep balloons away from heat, flames and overhead power lines. Do not release balloons outside.

Tell us about venue rules and any plans for candles or electrical décor before booking. Use only the items and locations we have agreed on.

11. Photo booths & other services

Your quote will list your photo booth, rental hours, attendant and what you receive. We will confirm the space, stable power, any internet needs and venue access. A service is reserved only after we confirm it.

Guests must follow the photo booth attendant’s instructions. Do not operate, move, adjust or handle booth equipment on your own without the attendant’s permission. Guests who use the booth without permission or ignore the attendant’s instructions are responsible for any damage they cause to the booth or its equipment. If the guest responsible does not pay for the damage, the event host who books the service is responsible for the repair or replacement cost. Any charge will be explained and based on the damage caused, as set out in the booking agreement.

Photographers, videographers, DJs, florists and other specialists may have separate agreements. Before paying, check who provides the service, what is included, timing, payment and cancellation rules. Services shown in our photos are included only when listed in your package or quote.

12. Event photos & your privacy

Please tell us if your venue or event has rules about photography. Permission to photograph décor is separate from permission to photograph or share pictures of guests, especially children.

Sending an inquiry does not give us permission to publish your name, personal story or photos of you or your children. If we would like to use these for marketing, we will explain how and ask the appropriate person for permission.

Our Privacy page explains how we use the details you send through the website.

13. Questions or problems

Please check the finished setup with us and tell us about concerns right away so we can try to help. After the event, email alinapartyland@gmail.com with your event date, details and photos if useful.

We will agree on any special conditions for your event before payment. Major changes after booking need your agreement. Updating this website does not automatically change an existing booking.

These policies do not take away your legal rights or excuse responsibility where the law does not allow it. They do not mean you give up every right to make a claim if someone is injured, property is damaged or reasonable care was not taken.
